La Plata Cathedral
Work carried out by Pierre Benoit, a renowned French architect, it has a neo-Gothic style in the shape of a Latin cross and made up of five naves in total.
Its façade has towers 112 meters high, crowned by their giant needle-shaped domes. In its center, rests a huge rose window with stained glass windows. Due to its size and architecture, it is classified as the most immense Temple in Argentina, as well as being the largest Neo-Gothic temple in all of Latin America.
Inside, you will find an underground museum and an elevator that takes you to the viewpoint from where you can have a panoramic view of La Plata, which will leave you speechless. Museum of Natural Sciences
Open since 1888, it belongs to the National University of La Plata. It is one of the largest museums in Latin America with approximately 2 million collectibles, some of which are on display here.
Recognized for being the cradle of the collection of fossils of mammals and dinosaurs from the Quaternary and Tertiary eras, in addition to having a room dedicated exclusively to ancient and native cultures.

Children’s Republic
This space is an educational theme park, with 53 hectares built to simulate a small country, in miniature. With public buildings, palaces, a train station, a port, castles, theaters, a church and even shopping stores, it has a total of 35 different buildings.
Built in 1949 in an old Golf Club, it is said that it was visited by the famous Walt Disney himself, who used this place as inspiration for the subsequent creation of Disney World.

Forest Walk
This place is popularly known as “The Forest” and its task is to be the largest green lung in the city. It was founded four months before the city itself was founded, in the year 1882.
It has 60 hectares, which house different varieties of huge trees, flowers and plants. In total, there are about 100 species of trees, among which you will find eucalyptus, ombu, poplar and oak. In turn, it has beautiful trails inside so you can walk, enjoy nature, ride a bike or do some sporting or recreational activity.
Considered an oasis in the middle of this beautiful city, you will be able to find the Observatory, the Planetarium, the Ecological House, the Zoological and Botanical Garden, the Museum of Natural Sciences, the Stadiums of the Estudiantes and Gimnasia y Esgrima de la Plata (the local soccer teams of this place) and the Garden of the Peace. Planetarium
If you are interested in astronomy, this place is worth your visit. Opened in 2013, it is one of the most modern Planetariums in the South American area. It has 1200mts2, a capacity for 175 seated people and is part of the Faculty of Astronomical and Geophysical Sciences of the University of La Plata.
It has 2 4k Ultra HD projectors for simulations of major astronomical phenomena so that you can enjoy them in 3D, as well as having a sphere with an internal diameter of 17m.

Pereyra Iraola Park
A natural reserve, which extends through the Buenos Aires municipalities of Florencio Varela, La Plata, Berazategui and Ensenada. In total, there are 10,000 hectares of vegetation, with 200 species of birds and mammals, as well as 130 species of autochthonous and introduced flora.
