The Museum of Imagination and Play is an interactive space designed for children aged 0 to 12 years. This museum is organized into three age groups, offering specific activities for ages 0 to 3 years, 4 to 7 years, and 8 to 12 years.

The building has several floors, each with multiple activities tailored to different age groups. Additionally, there is an outdoor playground and an immersive room that offers a 360° audiovisual experience with animations.

  • For the 0 to 3 years age group, there are activities like shelters, lagoons, balance circuits, light and mirror islets, sound flowers, nesting pyramids and cacti, stackable rings, and more.
  • For children aged 4 to 7 years, the activities include an inflatable tower, nets, prism slides, sound tubes, ball circuits, nesting walls, magnetic walls, and rotating mazes, among others.
  • For children aged 8 to 12 years, there are physics games, kaleidoscopes, electronic musical devices for programming and playing effects, digital graffiti, and more.

To ensure an optimal experience, it is necessary to book a time slot through their website before visiting. Each time slot lasts one hour, and it is mandatory for an adult to accompany the child throughout the visit.

Location

The MIJU is located in Puerto Madero, a few blocks from the Casa Rosada and facing the Reserva Costanera Sur. Although not many buses go directly into Puerto Madero, it can be reached by various means of transport that stop a few blocks from the museum.
